We love pasta and burgers, and we love our chicken curry too. But it’s easy to wear out those recipes. If you’ve been wanting to try something new, now is a great time to start. Give your favourite global dishes a tasty desi twist with Tata Sampann Chicken Masala. Here we’ve compiled a list of fusion recipes for you to try.
Chicken Masala Frittata
Give your regular scrambled eggs or bhurji a miss and try something with a little more flavour. This chicken frittata is healthy, tasty and easy to prepare. Marinate chicken cubes with salt, pepper, a squeeze of lime and some Tata Sampann Chicken Masala for about 20 minutes.
Dice garlic, spring onions, mushrooms and capsicum and set aside. In a pan, heat butter or oil and sauté the garlic until aromatic, then add spring onions. Add in the marinated chicken pieces and toss until cooked. Add in the mushrooms and capsicum.
Next, beat eggs with a bit of salt and pepper and add to the mixture in the pan. Stir lightly to mix all the ingredients and cook on low heat till the eggs are almost set. Sprinkle with cheese and turn off the flame. Cover the pan and allow it to stand until the eggs are completely set. Serve with a side of butter-garlic toast.
Chatpata Chicken Burger
In a large bowl, mix together 500 grams of chicken mince, an egg, finely chopped coriander, pepper and salt to taste. Finely chop an onion, a 1-inch piece of ginger and 6 cloves of garlic. Fry the ginger, garlic and onions with a spoon of Tata Chicken Masala, and incorporate this into the chicken mince mixture. Form palm size patties, and pan fry until golden brown on both sides.
Slice onions and pan roast until brown. Chop mushrooms and toss the sautée in a pan with pepper and salt.
For the spread, mix 1 cup of hung curd with crushed garlic.
To assemble the burgers, apply a generous layer of the dahi spread onto the burger bun. Layer with onions, lettuce, tomato slices, chicken masala patty and mushrooms, and dig in!
Spicy Chicken Pasta
Sauté the finely chopped garlic and onion with a spoonful of Tata Sampann Chicken Masala. Next, add chicken strips and tomato puree, and cook.
To make the sauce, add 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp maida in a separate dish and whisk on low flame till the mixture turns white. Add 300ml of hot milk and continue to whisk till the mixture thickens. Add in the chicken and tomato mixture.
In a pan, sauté chopped capsicum, broccoli, mushrooms and baby corn. Add in cooked pasta along with the sauce and toss.
Add a sprinkling of parmesan cheese while serving. Serve with a side of toast with a drizzle of olive oil. Bon appetit!
